My name is Mike, and I have a (car) problem
I'm one of the few that doesn't have a problem with the nav, since it's generally accurate. This is not to discuss generally UX complaints - instead, it's a specific calculation error.

However, I am planning a trip across Nevada, using only highway 50, so actual planning is key. Heading to GB National Park to camp next month. There's a charger in Ely (Tesla SC).

1) The SC doesn't show up in the app, which is semi-expected (but is on Plugshare and accepts Rivian)
2) The Nav is telling me the 360ish miles from Fernley to GBNP is going to take 13 hours, plus charging stops. This is a 7 hour drive, give or take, including stops.
3) The route it selects is correct and along the same highway (hwy 50) the entire route, so it's not routing me through Idaho.

Anyone experiencing new issues with the app? I've not plugged this into the truck nav itself yet so we'll see what happens there.

I am familiar with the reverse route as I came from Salt Lake City, stopped at Lehman Caves, and got stranded in Ely, NV over night when their only Shell Recharge station was inoperable (prior to Tesla SC's being built across the street). Level 2 charged in Ely, then charged up in Eureka, Austin, and Fernley before connecting with I-80 and charging up in Truckee and Sacramento on the way home to Milpitas, CA. Total drive time from Ely to Milpitas was 8.5 hours plus charge stops.

1) Check a setting in your app. I routed from home to Lehman Caves in the Rivian app and it said to stop in Ely for a charge. I went out to my truck and it also told me to stop at Tesla SC's in Fernley and Ely, as well as EV Connect in Austin.

2) It took a total of 12 hours to get from Ely to home including the charge stops. Weather was clear and roads were dry. The app is telling me that it will take 17 hours to get to Ely. The truck nav says just about the same.

3) It is routing me the same route as I took coming westbound. The reason why it is much slower is because of snow conditions. When I went, the roads were dry. I'm sure now it is covered in snow. The highest elevation on Hwy 50 up there is 7,727 feet. You can see in the app and onboard nav that Fernley to Austin will take 3'36" to travel 137 miles. That's only 38 mph. Took me 2 hours to travel that last year. From Austin to Ely, the app is saying it will take 5'45" for 149 miles. That's only 26 mph. According to my Electrafi data, it took me 2'11" to travel that distance.

So the mapping is probably correct based on the current weather conditions.
