I did my first trip that required charging away from my home yesterday. On the way home, I used the truck's navigation to navigate to/prepare for charging at a RAN. After I plugged in, I ended the navigation to the charger and started a new navigation trip to my home. I immediately noticed that the navigation app was not accounting for the additional range added by the current charging session. I thought maybe the charging session needed to finish before the navigation app would show my real time range. However, even after finishing charging, it did not update. I kept checking during my drive home, and the navigation app never did update with the real time range; the actual range and navigation app range were off by ~90 miles the entire trip, and it kept indicating that I would need to stop and charge again. This was fine this time since I knew my actual range and didn't need directions to get home.
My questions are: 1. Is this is a known issue? 2. Is there a way for me to force my navigation app to refresh with real time range data?
(Sidenote: I was really pleased with the RAN experience. Started charging immediately and charged quickly as I used the Dunkin' in the parking lot for a bathroom and coffee.)
