Navigation is like MapQuest

I've noticed the Nav is just as bad as MapQuest, so far it's brought me to interesting places and address locations are way off. Anyone having issues with theirs?

I've had more issues with my wife's BMW using Google maps taking me to the wrong location than the native Rivian app. I don't think I've ever had Rivian take me to the wrong place in the over 2 years I've used it.

I have had poor results from the navigation software. For example, I went to Santa Ana, CA from my home in the Coachella Valley to get my EVbase running boards installed at the EVbase office (I noticed on their website that they now install them.)

So I used the navigation software in my R1T. The route that the software selected was almost a four hour drive instead of a two hour drive. I had similar results over the Thanksgiving drive to my cousins' house in Riverside. I tested the software again and a one hour drive would have been 90 minutes.

I am really not able to use this software with confidence. Rivian should spend some money and get Google Maps; this is ridiculous.

Rivian nav isn’t perfect, but it’s not Mapquest bad. before consumer GPS units were affordable I had to print out a stack of Mapquest maps each morning to get to my accounts and spent a good portion of my day lost…so I guess I would appreciate any native GPS that is better than that

It's been good for me. Couple trips to South Carolina. One to Florida with multiple stops. Tons of local-ish stuff. No issues.
