Navigation Verbal Instructions

We have had Opal (our R1T) for a year and a half now. We have used her navigation feature on a regular basis. Starting a couple of days ago she no longer provided us with verbal instructions as she had always done in the past. I checked the volume and every thing seems to be in order. Is there a place where the verbal instructions may have gotten muted? I checked the owners manual and cannot find any information on this issue. Help is appreciated.

There is a place you can turn on or off the verbal directions. I forgot where but I have it turned off. Maybe it got turned off during the latest update?

There is a place to do that, but it's likely a bug. Alexa will stop giving audible feedback every once in a while. Software restart should bring her back.

Just a thought: have you tried saying "Alexa, turn on verbal navigation" or somesuch? But, yeah, a reboot is often a quick, easy, and painless first-step in fixing problems like this.

If alexa is offline the verbal instructions don't work. I've had this issue before. Soft reset tends to help.
