You don't need it if you have PPF. The add-on pack is a small bottle of Rapidtac remover, which is generally a little better than most at getting the sticky residue off, and a small bottle of Griots Speedshine, which I have a giant bottle of and honestly use for everything, but after you've been at the paint with adhesive remover and alcohol, I just think it helps restore the surface of the paint a little.

Costco sells a windshield umbrella. It fits the R1 windshield perfectly and folds up to fit in the middle compartment. This was $13.

Many of us R1S owners are anxiously awaiting a roof shade. Windshield shades have been readily available for quite some time.

For the tailgate badges. Are you having yellow accent on the lettters? I.e the door emblems have yellow accents but the tailgate do not. I am wanting the yellow accent on the tailgate.

Also for the hooks. Is there a black with yellow interior accent? I would like to see a black hook with with the inside of the hook the compass yellow.

The problem with those (aside from price, and coming from China) is that the corners can never be as sharp. We do make covers for the Tesla "T" emblem, and it took a long time to get them to the point where I was happy with them, but the corners are still softer than the actual emblem. So although we can make them, no plans for the time being.

For the rear emblem, no; since Rivian didn't do that, nor did we. It might be something we can do in the future.

For the hook covers, just single colors for now, starting with yellow or black (but open to other ideas for colors). Two colors would mean an entirely different mold, and complicates production considerably, so for now I'm trying to keep things simple.

Ditto. Covers make the letter strokes thicker. Not a lot but enough to be noticed by the human eye (doesn’t take much).

Damn. I was thinking about the emblems all week and finally today decided to take the plunge but they're sold out. I'll be first in line for the next batch of r1t black with yellow accents

They're a lot closer than that, so hopefully they'll land early next week, and be available the following week. This first batch came by air to our Texas warehouse, aka home, the next batch, which is much larger, is going to our fulfilment warehouse network. They're a bit slower getting them ready for sale, but once they have them, shipping is really quick.

The first batch helps us learn too. About 60% opted for the black and yellow option (over the all-black), and 70% of customers opted for the extra kit with the removal and sealing fluid (which we fill ourselves in our 'lab', aka kitchen.

I have a to-do list now, based on all the feedback, which is exceptionally helpful:

• R1S sets (hopefully August - this is the priority)
• Frunk emblems sold on their own, in the existing yellow black, and all-black

2 all-black R1S sets are 100% sold for me as soon as they hit

They look so good! Texas heat made it easy to pull the old badges off. I think having PPF also helped. I think I would have liked the yellow accents on the large badge also, but it still looks amazing!
