Also, if Rivian has any hope of surviving without a merger (paging GM - they have $$ Rivian needs and Rivian has EVs GM needs) they need to think about devoting some capacity at Normal to R2. Even if they get the Georgia plant operational, they will need a year to get it fully humming and they won't have the output capacity that they need to sell enough R2 vehicles to survive.
They need a change in strategy, and they need it now. If I were them, I would all but shut down the R1T line (they have very little demand signal for that right now) and I would focus on R2 at Normal.
