Great video. Makes me want to work for them.

The one dude summed it up about everything needing to be simplified and precise if they are to ship at volume. I really hope Rivian don't foresake QC over getting R2 out the door as fast as possible becuase they'll all just end up backing up SC's again. I'm sure they've learnt their lesson from R1.

Massively rooting for them and can't wait for my R2.

Absolutely great video! I agree with the QC comment. I hope Rivian focuses more on the QC and takes a lot of load off of the SC.

The trailer hitch looks nice and heavy, hoping for at least 5,000lbs tow capacity, but maybe even 7,500lb rating :)

The pilot line is in Irvine, CA by their headquarters. I just drove by there earlier this week. It’s on Myford Rd. Which is why they’re referring the buildings as Myford 1 and 2.

Okay, thank you. The thing that confused me was when they said all the engineers were right next door. I thought most of the engineers were in California, not Illinois, so that threw me off.

Rivian uses the Toyota Proving Grounds in Wittman AZ for hot weather and off road testing. I know someone whose husband works there.

Yah that definitely does not look like a class 2 hitch. Capacity will be dependent on which drivetrain option?

Is that a Transformer symbol on the hood? Doesn’t look like a Rivian badge - sorta looks like Decepticons?

“transformer” would be a fun inside joke for a reconfigurable platform.
