This is the reason the old timers came up with the quote “If it ain’t broke don’t fix it ! “How much wind noise is going to come from all that crap looks like a roof light bar also going on.

Not the Chippa-thingie?It looks like an attempt at or tribute to the Warthog from Halo...

I looked into purchasing a totaled one R1T in NJ. I have talked to Rivian. They are stated that once one of their vehicle is totalled, they will not supply parts and all warranty is voided. It might change like it did with Tesla recertification process for cars like these.Personally, not a fan but it appears to be a way to keep one that's been totaled out of the scrap heap? And, BTW...it doesn't appear to take much to have one totaled. My small parking lot bump from a kid in February is up to $20K (plus another $6.5K from the hail damage whilst sitting in the body shop parking lot - after the original damage was repaired - plus another unknown amount from when the roof shattered on delivery due to missed hail damage). I might be getting the truck back tomorrow or Friday and I suspect I'll be pushing $30K in repairs in the last nine months (four months in the shop) before it's finally over and done. Putting together my diminished value claim shortly.
There's likely some pretty decent trucks out there listed as totaled...maybe the "Mad Max" fate is better than destruction? Still not my choice...
Ugh...
Is this mod okay for trucks in states where lane splitting is legal for motorcycles?I could see the Count doing this…

A white Gladiator behind me tried that move last night on my way back from San Diego. Thankfully I saw it in my rear view mirror in advance so I didn’t freak out. So, instead he eventually swerved through a couple lanes to get past me.Is this mod okay for trucks in states where lane splitting is legal for motorcycles?![]()
I guess you’re better off being challenged by a Gladiator than getting squashed by an Avalanche.A white Gladiator behind me tried that move last night on my way back from San Diego.
