If the new Quads came with 800 V charging and 180 kWh batteries, I'd upgrade in a heartbeat. As it is, not enough benefit over Gen1 Quad.

everyone whining about 131 and 140+ kwh packs should try a Gen 2 ā€œLargeā€ pack - higher prices and only 109kwh. Rivian’s future packs are only going to get smaller and smaller.
Along with their market share. Less and less of an adventure vehicle.

1. I would have bought a 180kwh Max Pack, at whatever reasonable cost premium.

2. I had a CT reservation and would have put the deposit down on the non-existent range extender if I went that route.

3. I'm kinda glad Rivian didn't end up making it. It looks like it would be difficult to keep cooling/heating sync'd with the rest of the pack.
