Only Dual Motor Configuration?

I'm not sure. I'm assuming through the website, he seems to think that his is going to be one of the few quad motor in the wild

I don't want to put a deposit down just to check the configuator

The only Rivians being delivered currently are quad motor, Adventure or Launch Edition trim, and Large Battery pack. Dual motor is currently in testing, and no updates yet on Explore trim and other battery size options.

You can't pick your trim level or anything right now. Only R1T or S. Rivian didn't want to give new reservations the idea that the pricing will remain what it is by the time their number pops in 2-3 years.

Oh ok. I told him DM wasn't supposed to be shipping until 24-25 so it seemed weird to not do quad motor now, but with how everything in the EV space is going currently, who knows

You just reserve a vehicle without any configuration right now. When they're near these new pre-orders in line, they'll invite you to specify which configuration you want
