Only passenger side doors would unlock

Today, I walked up to my vehicle and only the passenger side doors unlocked.

Did a computer reboot and vehicle still wouldn’t unlock driver side doors and lots of warnings appeared…low beams not working, front latch not working, tire pressure monitors not working, etc etc.

Called support. They said “oh we’re aware of that”.

Apparently, following the 2025.10 release this has been happening. Required a full vehicle hard reboot. Thought I would share in case others experience the same thing.

Same. Day 2 of ownership of our new Gen2 R1S. Wife was late for work while I tried to help her through the various resets.

Had several other failures of ADAS/safety systems prior to the full driver side shutdown.

Needless to say my wife's confidence in the car is none existent at this point. Had a service appointment and Rivian cancelled it because the issue had not occurred again following reset.

Now we have other issues going on so another appointment has been made.

So disappointed in the Gen2, coming off of a nearly flawless Gen1 R1T!

Rivian appears to be ready to resolve this in the coming release (per draft release notes)
