Outstanding slide out tray mod

I knew I needed something like this as the aftermarket tray I had was kind of hard to get out and always caused me to spill stuff everywhere so I loathed needing to get to paperwork or anything in the bottom.

I received the kit but noticed the tray he sent (I hadn't looked closely before purchasing) had a single hole to feed charging cables up through which in my mind would be a pain to lift the tray out without dragging the cords with it.

I sent him a message and a quick photo of what I had in mind and within a day, he had worked up a prototype to send me. No charge and no pushback! What he sent works perfect and looks just like what I sketched!

I highly recommend reaching out to him and picking one of these up for your Rivian. I think he said he was going to offer an upgrade to the custom tray like the prototype he sent me. It works so perfectly to pull up and out while leaving everything plugged in.

Looks rad! I've also been disappointed with the ones already available that are too difficult to remove without disrupting everything in the tray and any charging cables.
