PAAK issue starting R1 after latest update

Since the new update (2025.14.01), I am unable to start the vehicle (Gen1 R1S Quad) when I get in with my phone. I am always having to use the key card. I think this is the case when the vehicle wakes up from sleep mode because sometimes, the PAAK is recognized fine during the day when I am hoping in and out of the car. Anyone else have this issue?

I have noticed this the first time I use it for the day. I manually open the app and then it is fine for the rest of the day. I never used to have to do this.

Have you tried any of the resets?

I did the SW reset of the vehicle after the update but no relief from that. I will restart my phone and see if that helps

Worth a shot. I was thinking this would fall under hard reset.

I just noticed something with my Samsung folding phone. I always put it in my front pocket, screen facing my body to protect it. Often when I approach the car it doesn't unlock and I have to pull out the phone and wave it around.

The other day I put it in my pocket, screen facing outward and the car unlocks from 50 feet away as I approach. The BT antenna location in the phone and the rsi calibration of the car for opening must be quite sensitive.

I have a Fold 7 and the time the update came was the time I got my phone. I noticed that it is more sensitive. I am farther than usual and it unlocks the R1s.

Pixel 10 coming with Bluetooth 6.0. Not sure if this will help.

My PAAK experience has been atrocious. S24 Ultra and always have to carry my keycard. Half the time I have to put the keycard on the console and move it around before it registers.

I've had my Pixel 10 Pro XL and it has worked flawlessly for 3 weeks straight. So for my specific situation, something wasn't jiving with the S24 Ultra and Rivian. Really nice to have that resolved. Now about that incessant rattle...

I've got an S24 Ultra and have had zero issues.

My pixel 9 is better, but issue not fully resolved. Previously, it was every start from a long sleep (several hours aways from the vehicle). Now it's random. Some mornings, works just fine. Others, I have to use the key card.
