Parking Sensors in the Rain

Hi All,
It was raining in the Bay Area tonight and this constantly popped up on my Gen 2 R1S instrument cluster while driving on the freeway. When I got out I inspected all the parking sensors and all looked okay to my eye. Is this expected in the rain?

Haven’t experience that at all on my Gen1 but had the windshield camera sensor alert turn on when we were driving for 3+ hours in the rain. I always carry and windshield cleaner and detailer when in road trips.

No, this shouldn't be expected with rain. Wet snow, but not rain.

I have a gen 2 with the same ongoing issue, nice to know I'm not the only one.

Same in my gen2. Doesn’t seem to affect anything and comes and goes fast and often in the rain. Haven’t done anything about it…

I'm hoping it's a software thing. Feels like adding a slight delay to see if it clears up before they send that message would fix the issue.

Same here in my gen2. Nothing that I am concerned about. My previous truck did the same thing at times.

Couple of questions:
- When was the last time you cleaned them?
- Do you have any film or other protection on them (or waxed the vehicle so there is a coating)?

Mine did it from day 1, less than 10 miles on it when it first started.

I had this pop up a couple times while driving in the rain, but sensors worked/work fine.

Supposedly a "known issue" on a lot of gen 2 vehicles. Mine even does it in the fog or on a hazy day. If you reset the screens it gets rid of it temporarily (or does on mine). One of several gen 2 software issues that supposedly are being addressed with the next update. A big one for me is the cabin & battery pre conditioning/scheduling. To be honest some of this is ridiculous.
