Petite person in R2 drivers seat

I am excited about moving on to a Rivian. I was waiting on the R3, but must have the Borealis R2 However I am concerned about the very large hood that I cannot see past. As it is I need a cushion to sit on. I am in a Tesla Y and have great view on the road in front of me. I am concerned about that front end….. the driver seat mechanics don’t accommodate a short person….. the seat will not go high enough, yet the front of the seat elevates higher then the true seat and that definitely does not work for me. Any thoughts on this will be greatly appreciated.

My wife of 50 years and 4’11” drove the R2 and loved it. No issues with hood or reaching the pedals.

In any case I fixed it.

Lady simply isn't in my lexicon. I see Lady as a Southernly thing so I had to go with something else.

I do find it perplexing I used girl. The OP is a personal trainer who might or might not throw boulders for fun.

I tend to be very informal with language on forums so I think that's why I used girl.

Oh - that's really good to hear. My in-laws have one reserved and it would be my mother-in-law's primary ride and I think she's 5' 0". We're doing our R2 test drive today and I was planning to get her behind the wheel to at least confirm that it fits her.

My MIL sat in the R2 today in the King of Prussia Rivian Space and the seat moved high enough and far enough forward that she absolutely loved the visibility! I pity the fool who tries to get into the driver's seat after her without adjusting it first, but I family dynamics prevented me from doing it when she got out of the car.

The R1S seat doesn't move high enough for me. I might think about getting an R2.

Hopefully you'll be able to see one in person before you commit, but I was really surprised at how high she moved the seat in the R2! I actually looked in to see how close to the headliner the top of the headrest was! We should have our R2 before they get a chance to order so we can confirm the length of the R2 fits in their garage.
