How long did it take to receive your permanent plates after delivery?

There are a lot of variables, but in WA state it took 3 weeks for me

How long did it take to receive your permanent plates after delivery?

About 1 week in CA. The peculiar thing is the plates were mailed to me from Rivian in Irvine not from the DMV in Sacramento. Also, we bought another new car in May but those plates took 5 weeks to receive directly from the DMV. The Rivian plates I received were serialized before the other car. Rivian must somehow get plates shipped to them directly?

6 weeks in Texas, and Rivian shipped them to me from Illinois! lol

Edit: FedEx showed 2 overnight packages that were waiting to be shipped to me for 2 or 3 weeks that never actually shipped, only the labels created. I quit looking after a while and then the plates showed.

I had 90 day temp plates and it took them about 80 days to get tags to me.

When I went to pay the property tax the DMV system asked me to verify that the make was “RIVA” and the model was “boat trailer” (it said the body style was “MP” and the choices were SUV, Sedan, truck etc…).

after 6 hours on the phone with the DMV, registration office and title office no one could figure out how to fix it, so I own the very first RIVA MP boat trailer. Can’t wait until I get pulled over.
