Play iPod classic via USB-C ?

Any ideas how I can get my iPod classic to play via the USB-C cord? It says connected on the device, but the RIV won’t recognize?

I have been considering this, but haven’t had time to pick one up.

Sorry - I had no idea you couldn't connect any Bluetooth transmitter to the Rivian. Can you transfer the music to your iPhone? If you have a iPod Classic then you're definitely an Apple user.

I was told it had to be Bluetooth 5. The last gen iPods were Bluetooth 4. I too, had to transfer everything to an iPad.
