PlugShare participation dropping off?

I’m a regular pursuer of PlugShare reports around the country. Today I was looking to see how the new EVGO flying J stations and Tesla magic dock stations are doing. Some have only a couple reports per month. I think they get far more use than that. In general it seems fewer people are reporting on PlugShare? Maybe that is good sign of normal operations and people are satisfied?

I would second that request, but say please also report charger status using ABRP !

Last year ABRP introduced crowdsourced charger status information to go along with its route planning.

Because Rivian now owns and has started to integrate ABRP into the nav system, improvements in this tool will directly benefit Rivian owners by eventually allowing us to see that crowdsourced information while on the road.

PlugShare + ABRP + Rivian nav works now, but you really need all three in addition to some individual apps like EA (for EA charger status) in order to cover all your needs.

It would be great to have more integration so we can reduce the number of apps and data sources we need.

I don't use public charging that often since I charge at work for free and at home. When I have used EA and EVGo I always leave a comment like "Charging was good, chargers worked" and maybe what the facility looked like and what amenities were around.

The only way we can all help each other is to participate in reviewing.

I admit to being a part of this problem. I don't need to use public chargers often and when I do I often combine it with shopping or eating so I forget to add a check in at the charger when I am done. I promise I will do better

I typically don't bother if the station was a known quantity from other folks' previous check-ins and I didn't encounter any issues then either.

I don't use public charging as much as I used to. Besides a quick test of the DC charging on my Fisker, I haven't stopped anywhere besides RAN in over a year. Which is a known quantity.

On a semi-related question, is it worth it to pay for Plugshare premium? Ad-free version? Looks like a paltry .99 cents per month, but with Amazon gouging and every other company in the world gouging, gotta watch our pennies, haha. ?
