If Polestar can pull off making it an improved, higher featured, SUV version of the 2, it's going to be a hit. My 2 is no slouch but the acceleration of the R1T is definitely way better.
The biggest hesitation should be the MSRP. Dealerships will likely pull all sorts of Dealer surcharge bs

I don't think that happens with Polestar. The price listed is what you pay for it. The only way they can upcharge is through doc fees, etc. I'm guessing it has something to do with how the dealers are all franchised, for lack of a better term.

Iā€˜m not seeing the value in this Polestar at all.

A Cadillac Lyriq is much bigger, greater range and full luxury for only $63k ($66k AWD). Plus it’s got a future proof modular battery that supports individual module replacements over time.

Polestar is looking more like an overpriced Geely designed to pick off buyers with too much money.

While I’d like to agree with you, the quality build of the P3 will easily set it apart. The luriq is akin to Model Y AWD (not the long range or performance). Basic. Slower. Low quality materials, suspension, etc.

You might want to check one out first before saying that.

I am not a GM fan, but the Lyriq was very impressive. Nothing low quality about it, very nice to drive and unbelievably quiet inside.
