Have the same Kobalt for close to 10 years. Great little compressor, aside from some sharp corners and edges around the storage compartments for hose and power cord.



Unless one owns Milwaukee tools already and have a collection of batteries, not a very good value. Plus, the R1 has outlets. For $199, I’d be looking at ARB or similar that are purpose built for overlanders and can accept quick disconnects.

Rivian uses the arb unit except no blue anodizing with a custom pressure controller.

My son has the older trigger controlled inflator which works well but it can be tedious having the hold the trigger the whole time you are inflating the tire.

Velcro strap, zip tie....

I was about to say, I have several of the trigger style and I put one of the twist ties like from a bread bag around it. Has worked that way for almost 10 years.
