Positive Mobile Service Experience via Blauvelt SC

Shoutout to Vincent from Blauvelt, NY Service Center. Mobile appointment block was scheduled for 6/9 0900-1200. Courtesy call at 0845 for confirmation, arrival at 0945.

Items to be addressed were:
-7500 mile maintenance
-Tire rotation
-Adjust driver’s side gear tunnel latch to secure without slamming door
-proactive replacement of 12volt battery


Vincent called upon arrival. Upon meeting, he was pleasant and professional. He went over the list of repair items with me and asked if there were any other items I’d like addressed. Once confirmed, he got to work right away (in the rain)
After rotation and scheduled maintenance, Vincent informed me that he’s taking the vehicle for a test drive to confirm that the vehicle performs to spec. Upon returning, he got to work on the 12v battery, then gear tunnel.

After completion of this work he got in touch to review repairs and have me sign off on them. Everything was completed to my satisfaction and in a timely manner. The interior and exterior of the vehicle were left clean and neat.

Overall I am extremely satisfied with this mobile service experience and would highly recommend it through the Blauvelt SC.

As for scheduling, I was able to do so a week out with plenty of options available.

Great report! The mobile techs I've met have all been awesome, as well. To confirm, you were able to schedule a week ago and get it done yesterday?

I wonder if the haste to take care of it quickly was prompted by them "seeing" the 12v battery was failing?

We went to the Blauvelt grand opening and the folks there were great. Taking our S there on Thursday for the first time for the 30k inspection. Hopefully things go smoothly!

I've had positive experiences at the Shelton and Brooklyn SCs, although the BK location is not ideal.

There wasn’t anything that was indicative of this on my end. Granted I have a Gen 2 T. The mobile appointment was made through the app and not via live interaction. I’m not far from the service center. Maybe that was a factor?

Rivian is definitely stepping up their service game. In Southern California it used to be a zoo with many months backlog, but now they are fast and efficient. Had the "replace 12V" pop up yesterday and was able to get into Costa Mesa today - 1 hr in and out, battery replaced and vehicle washed. Excellent service.

I had Blauvelt for mobile service last year which was great and of very high quality

just had my car in the service center for looking over a SW issue and blinker light repair. From the moment I got there to picking up the car it was the best experience- friendly, courteous, listening and actually followed up on everything. Great communication and love being able to just message with the team. The SW issue was check, tested and reviewed by the specialist team and taken serious. Truly impressive and highly recommend this service center. Loaner process was easy too … they just called enterprise and gave me a car and dropped it at The service center upon pickup
