Preorder Cancellations On/After March 1, 2022

I had a different experience. Canceled March 1. Did the chat March 3 to ask about reinstating, they asked me to confirm my email, and said they'd "add me to the list" to reinstate. They never said explicitly that my order was reinstated, so I'll just be waiting.

That's odd because when I reinstated my reservation they never said anything about a list. They asked for the shipping address and said it was done

Over chat CS said it may take some time to reinstate, I asked how long, she said she doesn’t know other than longer than a day. I asked for a confirmation number for my request to reinstate she said that’s not possible then I asked for a email to confirm my request she said she will send it out by the the end of the day, I’ve yet to receive said email after 2 days.

I had my reservation reinstated as well on Thursday and was told my spot in-line would be held. I haven’t had an email since and my config hasn’t shown up on my account yet. Based on the number of cancellations I assume it will take some time. My original delivery window was Oct/Dec so fingers crossed we still make that window

Just got through to CS and all is good. I checked my bank account and the 1,000 was never deposited back to me.

I just chatted with CS and got this: "I will go ahead and reinstate your preorder now and we will honor your original pricing. Once your account reflects these changes, we will reach out with an update! Thank you so much for supporting us along this journey."

So... I guess I'm good. Still not 100% confident here, but here's hoping.

Knowing Rivian, we won't see any changes until March 10, a few hours before the earnings report.

They said they’ll reinstate and it would take time. Everyone panicking and clogging up the customer service lines while they work out the software changes isn’t going to help. Just be patient.
