I have the standard Rivian Wall Charger that I have been using successfully on my R1S for months. My wife just bought a Hyundai Kona EV and I have used it to charge that as well. However I often find that when moving it from one vehicle to the other it needs to be completely rebooted (at the electrical pane breaker) before it will work with the second vehicle. For example plugging it into the Rivian it flashes white for ever and often then goes red. Is this expected behaviour or is there a step I might be missing?

Happens to me about once a month and I have to reboot the car twice and the charger once(fix recommended by SC).

Mine has problems regularly. I just spent 45 minutes talking to Rivian and troubleshooting on Friday. They want to do a firmware update. They acted like this is unusual, and we know it's not. I am considering just putting it on eBay and replacing it with something cheap from Amazon.

The Rivian charger was overpriced to begin with. The Tesla UWC is less expensive by $250. I went with a Grizzl-e classic for $400 less than the Rivian EVSE and it is flawless. Consider whether you need the app control or not. Sell that sucker and buy something else.

Mine charges Rivians, Ford, and Tesla almost daily with no issues for last 2 years. Damn, now talking about will probably cause it an issue.

If it fails again, definitely. And since Rivian has not given us any way to know if it's not charging...it has really boned us. The Tesla would say "charger not connected" after a while, when parked at home.
