Proximity off at home not working

I don't exactly when this started but noticed in the last couple days, the proximity lock/unlock off setting for home isn't working. I have it set in the settings for off when at home but it still constantly locks and unlocks while sitting in my garage. All my other location based settings work (like garage door opener). Anyone else seeing this?

Agree on a reset. Mine has done the same thing, and other proximity issues. A reset fixed it. Sometimes a issue came back until the next software update, but not the presenting at home problem.

I had this problem and it was caused by the fact that my home address was set wrong. So it didn’t think I was at home.

I am having the same issue. I reset home location, however I noticed I lost garage door proximity again after a week. I had to re do that as well. I think this was part of the new update somehow some software bug is introduced.

Your “home” is set wrong either because you set it wrong, or due to a “blip”. When mine does it, the garage door opener shortcut simply stops showing up. A full reset should fix it or you can try deleting and resetting your home location (and/or toggling the proximity at home settings).

So figured it out. When i left the other day, I noticed the GPS was "Stuck". I.e. even though I left home it still showed I was at home. So when i got back home, i did the infotainment reset which allowed the gps to function again. That fixed the lock at home problem.

I'm guessing since the GPS wasn't responding, even though it said it was at home, it still triggered the proximity lock. Makes sense from a protection standpoint so people don't leave home and the truck doesn't lock in the parking lot somewhere because it still thinks its at home just because the GPS isn't responding.

I was having this experience, but my proximity locking/unlocking "off at home" feature never worked at home. Turns out, google had my address/coordinates incorrect in their database because it was a newer development. Originally, I discovered it when I set my garage location, and the address that populated was an address on the other side of my neighborhood. When I entered that (incorrect) address into my navigation as my home address, tada...it started working properly. So, I then submitted an address fix to google maps, which they approved. Once google corrected the address, I had to go back into my garage settings, update the location prompt, and change my home address to the correct address in navigation. Now, I have the correct address information on google, and that correct information matches in my vehicle as well. Everything works properly.
