Q2 Delivery Estimate Update Stats

Planting a seed thread for the pending 2nd Qtr. Delivery Window updates many of us are anxiously awaiting. Thought it would be useful to make it a Poll so that you can both post to comment on how the update affected you personally and contribute to a wider assessment of trends.

Using this USA map to define 5 regions:

• West
• Central-north
• Central-south
• Northeast
• Southeast

Keeping it simple in terms of changes to make the poll size manageable. I realize there are so many ways to slice a survey based on model (T vs. S), time since reservation, drivetrain/battery differences, etc. So this won't be a one-size-fits-all capture of what adjustments Rivian made to their master scheduling model. But it might provide some talking points.

The irony here, of course, is that the closest Service Center for NM, is in Denver, CO--right? We live near Santa Fe, and I know nothing closer.

Was Jan - June 2024, am now April - June 2024. So not really moved out but thats how I voted since I was expecting the early side of the range.

Was July-September 2023, now August-September 2023. Feb. '21 preorder, LImestone R1S, no additional options. Just want shop access as I've become a lot less picky after this long(er) wait.

You're lucky I guess. I also ordered 1/22 but my estimate is July-Dec 2024 for my R1S with no options, same a before. NorCal location not too far from a SC.

I got the returning Customer-appreciation deal. Bought R1T in May last year. Ended up selling it a few months later when the crazy-high resale pricing was going strong. Main motivation was using the gains as down-payment for my daughter's condo. Anxiously awaiting my return to Rivian ownership.

I received my update about an hour ago. My estimated delivery date was shortened from a three month window (July-Sep 2023) to a two month window (Aug-Sep 2023) but is otherwise unchanged. I’m in the DC area. Per order date is May 2021. Configuration is Rivian Blue with Black Mountain interior. My short-term lease (6 months through FINN) ends July 3. I’m in a bit of a jam, but will make it work. All good.
