I completed normal setup as the first user of the car, creating my profile that has all my settings. Then I added my wife as a user and after going through the process of adding her phone as key, etc, I noticed that her profile was a copy of my profile for all the system settings. Including my Spotify account and Alexa account. In my Tesla, the different profiles would require her to log into her own Spotify account, etc. If I start changing these types of settings/logins in her profile, will they stay separate and my profile will maintain with my logins/settings?

Tesla introduced the separate Spotify accounts in May 2022 - prior to that, they too operated the same as Rivian (one single account for the car). Unfortunately that multi-account feature has not arrived on the Rivian (as far as I am aware but over on RivianTrackr wishlist, it has been upvoted a lot since it was requested in Jan 2023 so hoping it finds its way onto upcoming releases. https://riviansoftware.canny.io/wish/p/spotify-multiple-profiles

This has been discussed before in this forum.

But truth be told, until Spotify fix their issue where (even with a premium family account), you can’t use an account at the same time in two places, I’m happy to use one single car-related account on the Rivian so that music playing at home is not stopped when I get into the car.
