question for Socal R1T owners / wind noise

Good morning to everyone

Is there anyone in socal willing to meet up with me for a very short drive? I have had my R1T in a few times for service and the first time I asked them to listen to my truck at speed for wind noise. I have / am coming from a Model S and the wind noise in the R1T just seemed a bit excessive.

They told me they did not hear anything, but I still believe mine is a bit noisy and would like to compare to another owner.

*** I am in Fullerton and work in Pasadena. Is there an R1T owner that is willing to go on a quick drive with me and listen for wind noise and possibly let me listen in their R1T? If so, much appreciated.

I have a loaner from factory while they are fixing the issues with my new truck. never took a delivery of mine yet. Loaner I have has wind noise at highway speeds and coming from the top of the wind shield. I saw in the forums some people mentioning headliner piece above the top of the windshield might cause it, I assumed it was same on this loaner. looks like installation is not properly aligned. I am in corona area.

I have horrid wind noise in my R1T and it is getting worse. Have a service appt in Dec. Hopefully there is a fix.

I too came from a Model S. The Rivian is a brick going through the air. Especially as compared to the Model S, which is one of the most aerodynamically sleek cars on the road. Just from this alone, including bigger mirrors, the truck is going to have more wind noise. The wind noise to, isn't all that back but certainly nowhere near as quiet as the Tesla was.

If you just crack the window at 75 mph+, it can actually startle you because it's so loud when doing so. I scared the crap out of my 6 year old nephew last week when I cracked the window open. He begged me not to do that again!

Unless you hear a whistling of some sort or can feel that air is breaking through the seals, then what you're hearing, is probably normal

Anyone in or near Agoura Hills? I just got my truck and have a lot of wind noise. Would love to compare to another truck. Im
Coming from an Etron so I may be spoiled in this regard.

Finally I have my own truck. I have a whistling wind noise coming from the top. it looks like my headliner piece is not installed properly on one side. I will add it to the list of things on the service order but I am not sure if they will do anything with it.
