I'm Mar-Apr and no guide assigned yet.

You are in Seattle area too and still haven't got a guide... strange! What is your configuration?

Guide is assigned over the weekend. Yay! Emailed my guide Pailina this morning, and waiting for response.

I am assuming all R1S delivery estimated for April-May got guides. Anyone in that range hasn't received a guide?

Pretty normal. Rivian Blue, 20" AT, offroad, BM interior.

CS has been telling me for 2 weeks I'm going to be assigned a guide but nothing. Not sure how they decide who to contact. Assuming it's some sort of random draw.

Have guide call in an hour! Not expecting much as @Matty J still hasn't received his 8 step.

Tell your guide you require a photo of some produced R1S. Or just a photo of some going down the line. Or just some other proof of life. Otherwise, agree to nothing.

Great call. No big information, except that by changing my wheels last minute (AT bright to dark) I retained my delivery window. Also allowed me to request picking up at Denver SC instead of delivery. We confirmed my config, and next step is PBA getting sent over (no timeframe). He confirmed that my specific vehicle is not yet on the production floor.

I'm so happy for all that have been contacted ... but, until we actually see photos of R1S sitting in the lots of the Delivery Centers, it's hard to get too excited.

I was at the Brooklyn service center today. They haven’t received any R1Ss yet I was told. 50 or so nice R1Ts awaiting delivery on the lot.

Good call with Jenny H. today. Echo other posters on how great she is to talk to. Light on new info to share, other then the owners manual is on their radar as an ask from this group. The guides want it as well. For my fellow Ohio pre-order holders, Jenny shared that the vehicles would come from either the Cincy or Cleveland service centers. New news to me at least. Configuration is now locked!

Had a SMS exchange with my guide today. In a nice way was told to sit tight, wait for my direct email from the guide to schedule intro call.

I was at the Brooklyn service center today. They haven’t received any R1Ss yet I was told. 50 or so nice R1Ts awaiting delivery on the lot.

I must be really out of the loop...the SC in Brooklyn is open? When did that happen, and can you walk into it to see a Rivian or is it not open to the public?

Me too, Mar-Apr, and being told I’ll be assigned one soon from CS, and so far nothing ?. I seriously doubt they make deliveries by the end of April

I agree, looks like the 2022.11.2 release is going out now. I wonder if they were waiting for that. We have not seen any R1S being transported yet and no owners manual.

I guess the good news is it is getting close and once the R1T floodgates opened things started moving pretty fast.

It does seem like the R1S might be built to configurations as opposed to the R1T which seemed more like they were building and shipping then matching to a buyer. I only say that because 1 person changed the wheels and guide told them it would not impact the timeline.

Fingers crossed we start seeing movement s00n….

Not really open to the public but I was greeted by a Rivian employee who kindly let me look around the lot briefly after I told him I have a R1S reservation. Hey, the gate was open.
