So just thought I’d post a quick synopsis of my trip from LA to Scottsdale.
1. SUV performance and utility is simply awesome, Fit incredible anount of luggage in the frunk and trunk
2. Was able to drive with AC/Heat off just fresh air so was able to get mostly over 2 miles/kwh, even going over 80MPH, the estimates of mileage was very accurate
3. I started with a full charge and stopped in Indio charged to 100% and then stopped again in Glendale
4. Charging experience was kind of easy and scary, first stop it wouldn’t charge at the 150KWH charger switched over to the 350 charger and it worked, not sure why that happened but it was definitely not the charger. On my second stop even scarier, the opposite happene I couldn’t charge at the 350 charger and switched to the 150 and just kept getting connecting to car message and no charge. I had did a soft reset and luckily it worked. The 350 charger may not have been working since a KIA right after also had trouble
5. Awesome hotel kept my car fully charged
6. The charging experience sucks, broken chargers, and Rivian also has errors, I loved it but I love that kind of challenge
7. The music and all internet connected functions stopped working for the last 1 hour of the drive, I didnt soft reset yet but dissapointing

I think the cool thing is the charging once working is actually really easy. Before I can even order my food it seems like 50+ miles are added so fast. Many chargers were full and not working and so lots of confusion overall :(
