I received ready to purchase email (8 Steps) on 4/14/23. Nearest Rivian service location to me is West Sacramento, CA. Guide says it will take 4-8 weeks ones it leaves factory this week. Vin has been assigned. Currently I am trying to line up my financing and also sell my current car after I get confirmation that I can schedule delivery.

Rivian did offer more then Carvana. Those that have done the trade in with Rivian, do they let you get cash for the car or you have to use it as full down payment for your Rivian? In the 8 Steps process, tried to use it as full down payment.

In California, sales tax applies to the full price of the vehicle, regardless of trade-ins.
