Interesting article came out on a deal announced today for a mining support company to start importing R1Ts for use in mines in Australia.

There was another thread months ago about a photo of a MEVCO R1T. Some pretty cool accessories (brush bars and rear rack). The roof glass had also been painted or replaced/removed. Here's another view of it:

I’m wondering if this is a way for them to test the waters there. Both NZ and AU buy petrol trucks of this size, so perhaps the R1T would do better there proportionately as compared to NA. I expect there are some markets that would love to get the R1T outside of NA!

Since the article mentions that "Right Hand driver vehicles would be available in the future" I assume that is the only update needed before they sell in the consumer market there.
