I still see them in the low to mid 50s?
They are listed at that, doesn't mean that's what they've been selling for. I've seen several sell for $49-50k lately. KBB starts at $48k, Edmunds doesn't provide anything but a Carmax buy $38k-$48k (which I don't take as fmv), Rivian trade in (which should be premium as a same brand trade) is in the $48k range. The 22's have the biggest hit. 23's are still doing pretty well.

I'm referring to completed auctions on the major sites. Non auctions I see most listed high 50s and up. Once were in the 40s I'll be super tempted. I'm just worried about the insurance premiums. Are they very high given the crazy repair costs?

Insurance is location and person specific, but in general, I don't think they are that bad given the cost of the vehicle. I haven't been shocked at what I'm paying. Actually my wife's $40k car is more for full coverage than my R1T for whatever reason.

Wow really? Yeah it's odd when I moved 1 town over my insurance increased by 25%. I'm surprised the Rivian premiums aren't super high given the repair costs.

I think it's partly because they haven't had enough history to use for rate data. I will say it's been increasing every 6mo for me, but still in a very respectable level imo.

How would you even go about cancelling a bid within 60 seconds left of the auction? Seems super sketch - especially since the same guy won. They should relist the auction or make that seller whole for $57k. I was considering listing my car on C&B but not after seeing this.

Yup. I've done these auctions, even with increments on bids people wait until 10s left to bid. It results in situations like this.

As the seller I'd refuse the sale and be willing to lawyer up, or force BaT to kick in cash. There was a 57k bid by a registered bidder, 57k is what the seller should get.

CAB canceled it stating it was clearly a mistake which I do think was the case. I do think that was the right move, but the should have canceled the entire auction or extended it 24 hours at least.

My wife's i4M50 costs me more to insure than my new 112K dollar R1S.
