I read everything manufactured until the January shutdown will be a ‘22 model, guess we’ll see when some of the post ‘22 vehicles get VINs.

Mine is for sure taking longer. I got my lock your config email on Nov 30th and only spoke with the guide today. I have a feeling the PPF is pushing me back. I told the guide I wasn't married to the PPF option.

My guide told me that the PPF option would not delay delivery...for what it's worth.

My guide located almost an exact match to my configuration (had to add underbody shield) and pulled the trigger. 8 steps opened up (VIN 164xx), trying to arrange factory pickup before the new year... super stoked!

I actually went to the Venice hub and they basically said the same thing. Not getting any indication from my Guide that much is moving for me right now. I was hoping to be part of this end of quarter rush. And before any further erosion of the truck features can come to pass.

Probably doesn't help that my color is not that popular. I figure that after the end of the month things will start slowing down when there is no longer an end of quarter rush.

I’m in a similar situation, waiting for my truck to get on a truck from Normal to SSF. I’m now more tuned in to the weather forecast between IL & CA, and the weather could be problematic over the next week or two.

Any progress on yours? Heard my truck is in SSF as of yesterday and just got step 8. Picking up the 27th!

While working with my electrician to install the Rivian charger today, I got a message from my guide saying that my truck was ready. I was able to schedule delivery for this afternoon.

This morning my garage got upgraded with a new Rivian charger, and this evening it got a matching R1T!

Not sure I'm much help. I do have a guide assigned but no VIN and no 8 steps

If you are really in Oakland then it shouldn't be delayed based on lack of proximity to a service center.
