Sorry for that dumpster fire of a site, but this is exciting news if true.

"The system covers the full Launch Package for the Performance trim — the only variant available at the initial rollout."

Wonder what the scope of the public configurator will be initially - just Performance + LP to play around with? Maybe additional Performance variants? Perhaps Premium and Standard(s) don't appear until closer to their launch dates? Any clues from R1 in the past?

Full range could help drive more longer-term reservations, perhaps limiting to Performance + LP to push more sooner-sales instead?

When the R1S and R1T had launch editions, were there any options or was it just one configuration? If not, then did you just slide down the list to put in your custom order? Also, are there options to lease for launch editions? Thanks.

IIRC, it had option of different style 20” wheels, at additional cost. Leasing of any kind not available in company history until over a year later, long after LE could not be ordered.
