Great news, OoS just did very short but well controlled 50, 60, 70, 80mph tests vs a Model Y.

Worth noting - the 10% challenges show a much larger difference than the side-by-side runs. I think it's pretty safe to say the R2 is 20-25% less efficient than the Model Y (Performance) at any given speed. I don't see a meaningful/clear deviation as speeds increase.

One thing to note - the R2 was run on *FRESH* tires. Like ~0 miles. For the side-by-side it got better efficiency despite colder temperatures. I am thinking combination of brand new tires and wet road really did a 1-2 punch on efficiency in the 10% challenge test.
I thought when they started all of this they said the tires has ~ 1017 miles on them. Normal, IL to east or Raleigh, NC is ~ at least 850 miles?
