What is the (completely unqualified) opinion of the group regarding the initial resale market for the R2 launch editions? It's a very different world since 2022, but many of us remember the random parking lot offers for $100k+ on our LE R1s. Some here even took those offers...

So, what's the likelihood of people paying a premium for R2 LEs in the first 6 months? Anyone here without an early R1 willing to say what they'd pay for an early R2?

Yes, I'm aiming for the third rail.

I think it'll be nonexistent. I'm looking forward to used R2's hitting the market, but not at a price higher than initially sold for.

All you have to do is watch the idiots on bringatrailer and cars&bids pay ridiculous sums for average vehicles. 🤣 There’s a chance to make “some” money on a new, much hyped vehicle available only to a few folks who have been in line for two years. Will it be worth the effort? 🤷🏻‍♂️. But it certainly won’t be the $30k folks were making on the R1 in 2022.
