R2 under cover in Laguna!

It looks like a Rivian, only smaller. yes, I'll make a reservation today, why not? and yes, I might have just bought a little bit more RIVN stock for the first time in a while . We're going to see the rest of the world start seeing what we see in Rivian, which I think will be great for the company and great for all of us.

I'm liking the look of those wheels. And it's pretty obvious that the R2 is quite a bit larger than the Jeep Compass next to the curb, although the Compass is a pretty small vehicle.

I hope it's the same wheel bolt pattern as the R1S so we see some of the maniacs in here put their 22s on the R2.

I echo the sentiment that those particular wheels are hideos. Hopefully Serj and @Atomic Wheels will be ready to put out some AW10s in whatever the factory size for the R2 ends up being.

There IS a chance there are covers on the wheels too--and whatever white panels are stuck on the outside will come off for the 'reveal.' Depends on how much effort Rivian put into 'disguising' this to prevent leaks before the reveal.

We're only a few hours away now, so we'll see together!

That said, there were 3 different wheel options for the R1 series. Hopefully there are at least 2 versions for the R2 that align with at least 90% of the community tastes
If not, then aftermarket is always an option!!

The "reveal"/"show" vehicles in many cases don't have production wheels or tires so I wouldn't get too excited or upset about the ones on this particular vehicle.


With that said.. that vehicle will no doubt have a minimum tow rating of at least 5,000 lbs so... that satisfies my minimum requirement.. I'm in! ?
