I have posted this on other threads ... Our phones are the biggest issue when it comes to energy drain while parked. My experience is with R1, not R2. If the R1 can sense the phone, it will continue to use power for something. And with the new digital key, it can find my phone from the garage, just about anywhere in the house. Turning of PAK is not enough. There are some settings related to the digital key (notifications) which may affect this. I have not tried changing them. So tonight, turn off all the cell phones the Rivian knows, lock the R1 (locking appears to also have an effect). Then in the morning see how much energy was used.

If the R2 is anything like the R1's, disconnecting it from your WiFi won't stop the data transfers/lack of sleep mode, it will only force the vehicle to failover to cellular for uploading data. I tried that trick with my R1T... it didn't work.
This is crazy. Reminds me too much of Space Odyssey. "I'm sorry Dave, I can't do that". Maybe I'm old, but this seems like tech gone wild. Too much.

It’s been in the shop since yesterday, with Wi-Fi turned on but nothing to connect to, and it’s sleeping just fine. No clue if it’s uploading data, but it’s sleeping.

Our phones are here at home, and the vehicle has been in the detail shop with a key card since yesterday and hasn’t been locked at all. You may have a point for PAAK, though. When it does come home, R2 will be near our phones and who knows what may happen. I’ve turned motion cam on as of 10 PM, so I’ll check in the morning and see how this thing is doing. I pick it up tomorrow afternoon.

Asleep all night at the shop! Which probably means nothing. It hasn’t been driven in 2 days. At least we know the battery drain doesn’t continue. You can see where I woke up the R2 around 8am. To get the data flowing to Rivian Roamer.

There are plenty of us around from the R1 first deliveries... it was a thing. Kind of like the M5.. no way to turn it off o_O

Everything left on at home EXCEPT for Wi-Fi. It slept like a baby and didn’t even need a bottle 😊
