I agree. The CT is also hideous. My R1T Quad Motor is the best EV on the planet.

I don’t know I fell in love with it instantly. I do love R3X color scheme, particularly the interiors; but as an essentialist would like to have it in R3. If not, R3X. I reserved for R2 as soon as somebody said it is open in this forum. Then when I saw R3 reveal, I badly wanted R3X.
I was always a car guy though; but went with R1S, as it was only available and from a company with a good outdoorsy ethos.

That was my initial reaction as well. I think it's because the rear doesn't have a wraparound lightbar. Perhaps that was a sacrifice for the flipper glass?

Anyways, I think we expect those defining features, and the R3 diverges.

Good thing Rivian isn’t considering your opinions because the R3X is awesome. You have to take looks and performance and combine them. That car will blast through any Ferrari on the market and still be able to off-road. What more do you want? ?

I think it’s the most compelling offering of the bunch. I like the size, should be super easy to park if you live in a city. The R1S is great for hauling a bunch of people or stuff, but for most things something smaller is more practical.

Love it from every angle, except direct side view. Everything is simultaneously fashion forward and throwback … except direct side. Or, it could simply be the PTSD of some miscreants in the 80’s torching the family Renault hatchback that loosely resembled R3… endgame was a black shell.

this entire forum lately seems like individuals just trying to be heard by creating their own threads. I would say more than half of them don’t even own a Rivian product either. It is just like folks who post on social media that they just had a bowel movement ?‍

so many garbage threads are making the useful / helpful threads get obscured.
