After 5 days parked with GG on (in a high traffic area), I came back to borked Apple Music.

Multiple resets but no success.

Anyone get bizarre behavior recently?

Service engaged, 60 day plus wait. Somehow this pisses me off more that bad half shafts.
Yes it has been flaky for a couple of days. Soft reset hasn’t helped. Might try a hard reset tomorrow.

I don’t know how much of or if any of this Apple Music issue is related to AT&T, but they do suck. In the locations that I go to, AT&T coverage is often times MIA, even in locations where one would not expect to have a cellular issue. I had to switch from AT&T years ago because of that. Based on the experience of people I know that have AT&T, I don’t think much has changed. As for Apple Music, I always know I have lost my AT&T cellular signal when the music stops. Darn, never thought to check my cellular signal when I was in my truck, today. Have to do that tomorrow.

Same crap here. Apple Music has been buffering and rebooting itself since Saturday. Multiple screen reboots. One vehicle reboot. Signed out and back into Apple Music which wasn't easy either. None fixed the issue for me either.

I doubt it is a cellular bandwidth issue since the navigation system can maintain the detailed map. I wonder if it is an authentication glitch between Apple and our vehicles.

When I’m asked to log into my Apple Music, I follow the directions provided on the main display. Then I get the “subscription not found” notificaton, even though I am logged into my Apple account.

That's exactly where I am with Apple Music too.... a soft reset, and a hard reset failed to cure it. Talking to Rivian, they gave me a mid-August Service Center appointment! :(

Mid August to get Apple Music back?! Seriously!! That’s hard to believe. What the heck is a service center going to do? This is some sort of software glitch. Surely Rivian will send out a patch to resolve this 🤞

Yup, I got the distinct feeling that I got a default answer to an unknown problem. I too hope that a software update/patch will clear this issue; however over on reddit, there was one owner who'd had this problem spanning a software update, which didn't cure it....

I also have all of these Apple Music problems. Soft/hard resets and logging out don’t resolve anything. Only home wifi results in Apple Music functioning. Even on home wifi, playlists don’t sync.

I also have Tidal. It plays more reliably than AM right now. However, it is also having playlist issues. Playlists don’t sync and also randomly disappear. Additionally, the Tidal UI on Rivian is quite poor.

I tested today tethering Rivian to my iPhone and Apple Music functioned fine. Disabled phone hotspot and music breaks. XM is fine.

Seems to specifically be Apple Music when on cellular vs. wifi (home or phone hotpsot). I've done soft & hard resets, logged out/into Music. None of that resolves it.

In general though LTE has been funky the last couple of days. So, not sure if it's a Connect+ specific issue or something in AT&T's network. I never trust carriers with all the weird junk they do. I have to deal with them in my day job.

I'm very much in the camp of "this is mostly an AT&T issue". Rivian software isn't helping the situation. But AT&T sucks. In congested areas I will quite often have full signal strength and no connectivity whatsoever because they have such poor infrastructure

With Apple Music hiccupping I resorted to FM radio.

***GASPS**

Hopefully they'll get it figured out soon.
I did the exact same thing today. Bluetooth audio is still ridiculously buggy and feature poor. I tried it at first and gave up when it wasn't meaningfully better than the broken Apple Music. Then, I signed in and out of Apple Music, but it wouldn't work for more than a few minutes. Wound up reverting to FM radio since it was the only option that actually worked. Even then, I wound up going out of station range a couple of times. What's funny is that I had forgotten how good FM radio can be in terms of variety and discovery and how terrible it can be with ads and terrible sound quality.
