Regen Button Greyed Out - SOLVED. PLEASE DELETE.

Question…I looked and didn’t see this.

Background…I just took delivery today of my 4th Rivian (had the lowest miles at delivery yet at 7). I now own a T (vin 15xxx), a T (vin 19xxx), an S (vin 27xxx) and now an S (vin 41xxx). I am not new to this vehicle.

This is the first time I have ever seen the Regen Setting completely greyed out. You cannot adjust it from Low to High or vs Versa. Nothing is even displayed there.

Oddly it was only charged to 77% at delivery (all others delivered at 100%). I took if for a quick 10 mile spin and was setting things up and notice the Regen was greyed out and couldn’t do anything with it.

Tired sleep cycle, hard reset..etc. nothing.

Am I missing a setting to actually activate Regen?

Flipped to conserve and noticed the button became active. I flipped back to all purpose and it was active. ?‍

I have a vehicle slight vehicle problem. ?

I've had this happen once after an update, but I think it was ride feel that did it. Prior to the update, the vehicle was in a mode that wasn't supported in all-purpose, so it didn't know what to display, but it was still in that mode.

Same solution there, switch modes and then back again.

This is amazing! Thank you for this. My regen has been greyed out since delivery and stuck on high. Drove it hoping the update or a reset would fix it. Finally put in a ticket for end of Janaury. Did your suggestion just now of switching drive modes. Boom…regen button is back and not greyed out. Gonna drive it for a bit before I cancel my appointment!
