I did the reset and then took it out for a spin. I drove fast, slow, up, down, etc. Wasn't able to recreate it. I'll keep on it and report back if it happens again. If it does I'll grab a log.
Thanks for all the help.

In these situations one would have had visual indication in the driver display that regen is reduced.
Not always. I've run into the same bug multiple times where regen is reduced and the only indication is the slightly darker section of the regen bar. No other audible or visual indications.

I can say I experienced this once right after the latest update… Left my house but truck hadn’t been parked long mid level state of charge and was in full regen then all of a sudden regen ceased 100% had to urgently apply the brakes for a stop that wouldn’t have otherwise required any input. But I have not been able to recreate it since. I do not use blended baking.

It does make me feel better knowing that others understand the issue. Thank you. Sounds scary suddenly not having the resistance.

I’ve experienced limited regen due to high state of charge or going down a steep grade and overheating. This was not the case and there was no warning. It went from working normal to free rolling no resistance with the only display notice being the regen bar just went white…

I’ve had random reduced regen on a <80% SOC where I happened to notice it on the display so I drove normally and eventually it went back to full regen. Being techies we notice these things. Regular drivers probably will not. My guess is it was a reduced regen moment (for whatever reason), and the driver didn’t notice it on the display and thought the vehicle would slow down enough but it did not.
