I was at RAN/Tysons Corner Mall this week as well, mostly to scout the location for future trips that might involve another EV rental out of DCA.
The RAN chargers are located in a very busy parking lot, in REALLY prime parking spaces on Floor 2 -- prime spaces for ICE drivers' resentment.
I didn't like the aggressive driving in that parking lot -- much too crowded for my tastes, especially near the RAN chargers, though there are MANY unused spaces farther from the stores and on the upper floors. Perhaps I have once again become a "country mouse," but aggressive driving is ugly (and usually unnecessary IMO) even in cities.
I was able to update the PlugShare "Descriptions" field with better charger-finding instructions. The RAN doesn't show on PlugShare's map, for unknown reasons, but the current title of "Tyson's Corner Center - Parking Garage C (2)" can be found on a PlugShare location search.
For reporting a damaged charger, my first thought was (855) RIVIAN-5, which has been very responsive on vehicle problems in my experience. I'm glad others thought of the "SOS" button.
Best to all!
