I have a launch edition R1S with 21”. I’ve always disliked their look (and wear) and was lucky enough to score a brand new set of 20” AT at an unbelievable price. My question to you guys, pay the $120 to have a mobile service to reprogram the software? Or don’t bother?

Sounds like you are not going back to 21s? I'd pay the $$ for the reprogramming. It's a one time thing. I change my wheels twice a year so I don't reprogram (only 4 months or so with the odd size).

It depends on your personality—if you want better accuracy, reprogram. Odometers tend to overstate your speed compared to the most accurate method which is gps based speed.

It's not just an issue of odometer/speedometer/range accuracy. Part of the reprogramming is to "calibrate the cameras". You don't want to miss out on whatever that is. I think.

How has this not been implemented in the settings app yet? Such a basic option to put in there.

Like Tesla has? Agreed. I understand not supporting third party, but switching between OEM wheel/tire packages seems an easy add to software. I don't swap with the seasons but there is a large percentage of Rivian owners who do

If your wheels end up being the same diameter, why would you have to re-program the truck? I switched from 21's to 20's with a beefier tire that had just about the same diameter, and have had no issues whatsoever.
