Rivian exceeding charging amp set rate

Hey all,

Trying out my A2Z J1772 extension today and out of an abundance of caution was going to cap the charge rate at 36A instead of the usual 48A. I'm using a TUWC. I have set the Rivian to 36A but it keeps pulling 48A. I've tried plugging the car in first then changing and changing first then plugging in to no avail. I changed it and saved via the phone app as well without any charging rate change.

What am I doing wrong?

Workaround. Change the output amperage setting in your Tesla app for your Wall Connector.

Well nevermind, I swapped the Tesla UWC to compatibility mode from all vehicles and now it changes just fine. Leaving this up in case anyone else experiences this.
