Rivian Maxtrax mounts installed

Has anyone found a solution to make the MK2 fit without buying new pins? Any tips to get the pins tightened? You can’t screw the nut and I would have to really over tighten them to fit.

If you haven't already ordered the Rivian mounts, you can get the flat rack mounts from MaxTrax with the MK2 pins and the T bolt hardware. (Looks like they are out of stock now though.)

Can anyone validate that these will work the same as the ones in the gear shop? Reading this thread the gear shop ones are for the Xtreme boards ideally, but can work with any boards.
I'm all for support Rivian, but I'd also like to save some cheddar, and this would be like $45-50 in cheddar!
