Targets are typically announced during quarterly results, so hoping for a strong projection this time. They did an impressive job selling 14k+ units in Q4, and hope the momentum continues!
Rivian isn't very good at communicating. They make excellent vehicles full of industry-defining technology. They do not realize the untapped potential of effective communication. Communications make every aspect of the business run better.
On track is fair to say. They would unlikely to meet their profitability goal for the 4th quarter without reaching their production and delivery guidelines.
Just yesterday got another "The stock is trash, company is bankrupt" troll reply on social media. They've been saying the exact same thing for two years. But Rivian keeps on selling vehicles and working to make them better. ??
They sold more vehicles this year than produced. Not just a scapegoat.
Not positive net income. That is a long ways away. The fourth quarter goal was breakeven/positive cash flow. No way they could make that without these numbers. Still isn't a guarantee they make it, but this goes a long way towards it since the incentives were not huge.

Wow ?, in just a week of trading, most of that 20%+ "pop" is already gone. There is just SO much downward pressure on this stock.
