I needed a vehicle that would tow 11,000 lb. The R1T is the same wheel base as a suburban and the R1S is the same as a Tahoe. I would have preferred the R1S+ over the R1T as anything that needs to go in the truck bed, in reality goes in one of my trailers.

It's so funny. I rarely have 7 people in my R1S, but when I do then I want space. The extra room for luggage+ would come in handy.

The rendering shows the space behind the third row identical to the normal R1S. I really want a longer R1S, but wouldn't want all of the extra space used up my increased legroom.

I would want the extra space used to increase the cargo behind the 3rd row. There may be room to seat 7 people but there isn't room for 7 people and 7 people's worth of luggage.

Agreed! The render has the 3rd row seats in their same position but I’d have them more forward to get a bigger trunk and subtrunk. Hooray for extra towing. The QM could definitely handle this

Exactly. Two rows, just like the R2 and similar length. It would be great to have an R1S that's otherwise exactly the same in all other dimensions and features. Kinda of like the Grand Cherokee and the Grand Cherokee L.

The R2 isn't a shortened R1S. It's a smaller/shorter vehicle overall without all the same features.
