That's the current SW version. It periodically has updates available in the app.

I’ve seen at least two different hardware versions. The handle is different and possibly the thickness of the cord.

Mine is also on V03.04.12. I updated it sometime last fall.
I have the 3RV7 version of the charger from 2022 with the beefier cord. Mmmm, beefier.

I just posted about OCPP support yesterday. I ordered in May and have the same hardware revision (ending in 3RV9). But 24 hours after first power up and connect to WiFi I am still running the slightly older firmware V03.03.22 and there doesn't seem to be a way to force an update.

I will note that when charging my newer Rivian Wall Charger cable is warm (not hot) to the touch.

This is... very incorrect.
The EVSE is limited to 48A output. To achieve 215kW on this system, your house service would need to provide 4480VAC.

this is the same issue with me. Charger firmware just got updated recently or something. My handle is normally not warm like this before.

Almost 3 weeks later I’m still running the same (older) version of the firmware.

My electrician doesn’t know about EVSEs and obviously didn’t read the manual. And he’d left the charge limit at the default 48 amp even though I had him install on only a 40 amp circuit.

When I opened the cover to set it correctly I noticed Lite-On’s logo and name on stickers and printed on the PCB. So it’s clearly a white labeled Lite-On device.
