Slow morning. Only 3 spotted on the drive from SF, across the bridge to Mill Valley. I think most of the herd migrated to Tahoe for the long weekend.

And probably also why almost no one bothers to acknowledge other Rivian drivers. As the owner base grows you also have more and more owners who are less enthusiastic.

My name is Mike, and I have a (car) problem
4 miles round-trip this morning. 12 sightings.

I think they're all down by me today - saw 12 this morning on a quick 4-mile r/t drive.

This morning, I saw 6 on the 8 mile round-trip to drop my kid off at school.

3 were in the school drop-off (inc. mine) at the same time.

Yesterday, I was at a stoplight and saw two green R1S at a stoplight next to each other.

And the funny (to me) thing is: whenever we see one, someone - usually me - will shout "Rivian!" My 12yo has stopped playing this game with me because "dad, they're everywhere"

Anyway - hope everyone has a wonderful day full of Rivian sightings. It feels like we're hitting saturation in my neck of the woods, but I still see more and more every day as measured by the CA temp plates they get when new.
Pretty thick with Riv’s in Park City. Every color and type. Three on my block! My club has six level 2 chargers, and last week there were 6 Rivians in them, and I wasn’t one of them. Shoulda took a pic. Next time.

My pathway to Rivian happened within a month. I had one brief off the cuff convo with a customer who was a Rivian owner. Didn't give it much more thought. I live in a small Oregon town along the Columbia River and I84. On a daily basis I kept seeing Rivians on my very short commute to and from work, and they were never the same Rivian. I couldn't believe this small town had that many Rivian owners, but I do see lot's of Tesla's and my EV knowledge was quite light. Having ADHD is a blessing and a curse. I'm able to hyper fixate on things and learn every aspect fairly quickly. Not always a good thing. I took it as a sign that a Rivian was my next truck. Fast forward a month and I'm picking up my new R1T at the Portland service center. The guy who gave me the run down on the truck at pick up saw I was from The Dalles, and goes, "we have a set of RAN chargers there". I knew the chargers were there but thought they were Tesla chargers. Some one recently confirmed that google had them mislabeled as Tesla chargers for quite sometime. Where I kept seeing Rivians is between the chargers and I84 on/off ramps. Doh! Oh well, it was still some sort of cosmic sign and I am still super happy 5 months later.

I'm also on the SF peninsula. Drop off for school is similar. I think I was the 2nd Rivian and now there must be a dozen or more. It would be nearly impossible to drive anywhere (even just a mile or two) without seeing one. It's to the point that when I travel for work, I'm always surprised by how few I see everywhere else.

I’m in south central Georgia and I use to see one other truck in our area but he recently sold it. The biggest thing i have when people walk up is people wanting to have a political fight.

I've had my truck for two years and four months. I live in a rural EV desert, so in that time I've only seen six or seven Rivian's (not counting RAN charging which I've done 4x), and that was always 50 to 500 miles from home. And only 1 time going opposite directions, and yes we did wave.

I asked the owner if he likes it and he said "nah". Joker. This is about 45 minutes from the Richmond service center, and I am seeing lots more in my area lately. Mostly R1S.

I'm in the 'research' phase of all things Rivian, and as I've been digging in, I have been spotting more and more on the highways. I drive a Semi in the mid east coast, so lots of DC/Baltimore/Richmond/Harrisburg/Pittsburgh roads. I'm too new to decode what is probably obvious to owners. I'm new to Rivian, but have had various hybrids and PHEVs over the past ten years. I'm excited to learn all I can from folks here on the forums.

North Jersey here and I am seeing a lot more, particularly the R1S, but not enough imo. The R1S is a FANTASTIC vehicle. I have been obsessed with the Chevy Tahoe for years, I love the size, the interior space, the rugged true SUV truck feel and look, but never pulled the trigger because the vehicle was too large for my wife and because of the fuel costs.

The R1S is not as big as the Tahoe but it does offer more storage when factoring in the trunk. The tech, ride quality, ruggedness is all better than the Tahoe (IMO) and it’s an EV!!! I’m probably saving $400 a month on fuel costs. It’s also a US car company which has some meaning for me.
